Whew!  Summer went by fast.  Like always.  Except this time I was able to relax nearly everyday poolside & learn how to dive!  Very exciting stuff.  These outfits are just snipnits from the past couple months.  Very sorry to drop off into nowhere land!  Plus I don't know how thecherryblossomgirl does it with the beautiful self portarts!  Must investigate....

The Geese Go By

This is what I threw on before stepping out last Sunday.  Both pieces just happened to be Old Navy.... and dress is worn inside-out.  Later on that evening I listened to the geese fly by.  Also scored some lovely things shopping after work today.  Will share once I were them in outfits!  **Sorry about chopped off head, etc....will get better at taking self-ports!!!

This past weekend was dedicated to watching films I missed growing up....or wasn't born yet on their release :o)



Annie Hall: sure the whole wearing guys clothes is nicely done but I'm inspired by the tennis shirt: cuffed sleeves & collar turned up in "I'm a prep & know it" way...not to be confused with prepy boys' collars turned up on a pink polo shirt.




Indiana Jones:  What a hat!  Just what I need for the summer at the lake....protect my nose from the sun & urbanstyle to boot!  And look at Marion's red pants!!!!  I was shocked when I saw them...completely now...loose, airy & bright for the summer....plus they are paired with red wedges!



Deer Hunter:  Basic grey ski hat...hopefully Gap or Old Navy does one for this coming winter...I know winter is 6 months off but in the Dakotas you have to plan early!  Club Monaco did hats like this last winter but they were cashmere & uber expensive :( 
  *side note:  movie was not as bloody as excepted & very good!  Shocker to see Robert de Niro, Meryl Streep & Christopher Walker ..... YOUNG!


An American in Paris:  Realized once started that I've already seen it!  But I still fell in love with this white one-shoulder dress.....hope to recreate one day minus the flower at hip of course.
